ROUSH has added more horsepower and throaty tunes to enhance all four new F-150
Among the new engines are two new beefy V-8’s. ROUSH has developed new ROUSH charger supercharger systems for both the 6.2L and the 5.0L V-8 power trains. Both the 6.2L and 5.0L supercharger systems will be available as a non-calibrated TUNER kit and a ROUSH calibrated kit. All systems will come complete with ROUSH’s 2.3L TVS R2300 supercharger featuring Eaton’s new TVS Technology. The new Twin Vortices Series features four-lobe rotors with high-flow inlet and outlet ports that greatly enhance thermal efficiency, enabling greater volumetric capacity at higher RPM’s. The systems also include ROUSH’s new cold air induction system, 100 mm MAF tube, twin 60 mm throttle body, and high efficiency inter cooler system featuring a dual-core low temp radiator, degas bottle and high capacity air-to-water intercooler. The 5.0L TUNER kit is now available for immediate delivery and the 5.0L ROUSH calibrated kit is available for delivery in early February 2012. The 6.2L TUNER kit will be available for delivery in mid January 2012 with the 6.2L ROUSH calibrated kit available for delivery in early April 2012.
In addition to F-150 supercharger kits, ROUSH Performance has also launched cold air induction systems for all four F-150 power trains including the 3.7L V-6, the 6.2L and 5.0L V-8’s as well as the 6.2L V-8 in the Super Duty. These kits have been engineered and tested to ensure MAF signal performance (including airflow vs. voltage and signal noise) are transparent to factory settings, which is why the ROUSH kit does not require a unique calibration and offer better air flow providing increased horsepower and better fuel economy along with improved throttle response. These kits are designed and manufactured using OE materials for structural stability and durability. The clean air tubes are injection moulded and designed for maximum air flow efficiency. All kits are designed for easy installation requiring no drilling or cutting. The F-150 V-8 cold air induction systems include an open element upper air box, washable high-flow air filter, new MAF tube, clean air tube and all required hardware. The V-6 systems and Super Duty system all include an open element upper air box, washable high-flow air filter, new MAF tube and all required hardware. All cold air kits are available for immediate delivery.
Rounding out the F-150 product line up is the new ROUSH dual-tip, stainless steel, high
performance cat back exhaust system. ROUSH has developed one system to work with the
6.2L-V8, the 5.0L-V8 and the 3.5L V6 Eco boost power trains and every cab and bed length
configuration. The ROUSH high performance cat back exhaust system has been engineered to provide increased air flow and less back pressure to help reach the trucks full potential in horsepower and torque. The system turns the normally quiet stock exhaust note into rumbling muscular tune music to any performance enthusiast’s ear, while eliminating any in-cab drone. The muffler is made from high grade 409 stainless steel and polished, as is the outlet pipe. The dual tips are made from 304 stainless steel, polished, and are then finished with a chrome flashing process. Conventional chrome plating uses layers of bonded chemicals to achieve its shiny appearance, which are susceptible to cracking and flaking especially when exposed to high temperatures (like exhaust). However, the chrome flashing used in this system is bonded micro-porously to the metal surface, and is as a result impervious to cracking from localized damage. This method of chroming is also resistant to heat color change. This exhaust system will be available for pre-orders beginning January 2012 with orders shipping out late February 2012.

Performance, power and an aggressive appearance are traits readily associated with the ROUSH Mustangs and the ROUSH F150 trucks. ROUSH Performance has applied their power train, suspension and body kit capabilities to the 2012 small car platform. The engineering and design teams at ROUSH Performance unveiled their 2012 ROUSH RS3 Focus today at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV. The ROUSH concept vehicle is painted in a striking matte-finished Sherwin-Williams “Sin City Silver,” complimented by a graphics package that let’s fellow drivers know that you’re driving a ROUSH charged® performance car.
“Our goal is to offer an affordable upgrade package to enhance the performance, handling and appearance of the 2012 Focus,” says Gary Jurick, VP/GM of ROUSH Performance. “We’re excited about our concept vehicle here at SEMA, and the initial feedback from consumers and our dealers has been very positive. The enhancements to the body components and overall styling have been a big hit with the SEMA crowd. We’re continuing to finalize our program offering, and we plan an announcing availability in early 2012.”
The 2012 ROUSH RS3 Focus offers several potential power train upgrades including a R900 TVS ROUSH charger®, Roush modified high-flow induction system and Roush dual-exit high- performance exhaust. “Our initial tests show that more power can certainly be derived from the 2.0L engine with our R900 ROUSH charger®. It’s possible to see 230HP and 210 ft/lbs of torque with the ROUSH Performance setup. Those are big gains over the stock outputs. That kind of power-to-weight ratio will make this an exciting vehicle to drive.”

A day of adventure and learning at Mission Raceway.
At last a hot sunny west coast summer day at Mission Raceway and what a day to be driving performance vehicles. Boy did the cars perform!
It was fitting that the Greater Vancouver Mustang Association held their Track day at the world famous Mission Raceway. Both have an exciting and notable lineage while existing out a love for speed.
Mission Raceway has a long and notable history. Mission’s unique location at almost sea level attracted some of the most notable people in drag racing along with a number of records over the years. The Greater Vancouver Mustang association has been around since the early 80’s with a strong and active membership.
Track day was exciting as modified, classic and Roush all performed as well as they could considering there is more than likely no race track on the planet that they air is as dense as Mission Raceway. The more dense the air the better the performance.
Key West Ford, one of the largest new and used car dealerships Vancouver brought 7 of its Roush super cars for use by members and their customers for the day. Their amazing sound is something one could never forget as they screamed down the straight away devouring the near sea level air.
The day started with instruction by the pro driving team at Driving Unlimited of Pitt Meadows, BC – the same folks the teach police, fire and ambulance drivers as well as performance auto clinics for BMW.. Class instruction focused on how to drive a performance vehicle followed by lots and lots of track time. Instructors switched up their vehicles to give each and every one of the participants valuable driving instruction.
According to Greg Balmer, Roush Performance Canadian GM the event was over attended and over sold. Overall the day was a huge success. The vehicles were running fast and hard. People overall learned a lot about speed and safe driving while almost endless track time.
You can experience the action the way the participants did watching videos, images, grabbing news feeds, widgets even commenting at http://keywestford.com/roushtrack/
It was a fun day overall.
