With the fall will come a promise of power. Ford will soon unleash its 2017 GT on the automotive world, dazzling drivers with V6 performance and turbocharged capability. This pony platform - of which there will only be 1,000 - will decimate the competition, earning track glory with every mile.

According to Car Buzz, Ford will gift one of its limited-edition models to Jack Roush (company founder and driving force behind the Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 Mustangs). This will celebrate a partnership that has spanned decades, with many successes earned through supercharged engines and aftermarket tweaks. These brands have served as leaders among the pony-market, and it’s fitting that the 2017 GT will now honor that.
We’ll admit: we’re more than a little jealous of Jack Roush. He’ll soon experience the thrill of a 3.5L V6 engine, which promises 647 HP. A carbon fiber body will sail down the track, while enlarged air inlets will optimize performance. This will be the premier super-car.

It’s been a history of partnerships - with Ford allying itself with countless aftermarket specialists, seeking to improve its pony-platforms and reinvent performance. With the launch of the 2018 Shelby GT500, this tradition continues.
According to Hot Rod, Ford will soon pair with ROUSH for a new Mustang. The GT500 (which is returning to the track after a decades-long absence) will boast class-leading capability. Prepare for a new era of power, thanks to a 5.0L Coyote V8 engine and a TVS supercharger. Carbon fiber paneling will prove efficient, eliminating up to 500 pounds from the chassis; while a six-speed manual transmission will deliver old-school friction.
These elements will combine to shatter every record - with the GT500 generating up to 750 HP and more than 135 MPH. This ROUSH pony was made to win.
Those victories will demand some time, however. No official production date has been given for the 2018 GT500 and critics remain uncertain of when it will roar onto the track. We’ve got our fingers crossed for a Christmas-time reveal.

With the release of the 2017 F-150 Raptor, Ford introduced drivers to a new breed of off-road beast. This pick-up - with its 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission - promised class-shattering power, yielding up to 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque.
